Robert Sorrell

A land agent with GRIT Land Company, Robert Sorrell Jr., helps folks find Alabama land that fits their vision for building value, enjoying the outdoors, or planting long-term roots.
Robert is a Birmingham native and Auburn grad with a strong foundation in agriculture business and rural land economics. His career in land investment and development is shaped by his family values, and his faith plays a central role in serving others. Robert's experience with land deals ranges from multi-acre homesteads to large-scale timber investments. Having also been on both sides of land buying and selling, Robert guides first-time and experienced buyers clearly through every step of the process.

As a devoted husband and lifelong outdoorsman with a heart for entrepreneurship, Robert enjoys being in the woods, investing in properties, and spending time with family. He also serves as a junior board member of the Reed Foundation for families affected by esophageal cancer, as well as the John Michael Pierce Foundation, spreading awareness of the disease in honor of his late best friend and land business partner.

Robert believes the right land is a blessing that holds space for productivity and growth, creating memories, and establishing a legacy that lives on.
